OBJECTIVE
The code of conduct for TECSPA members is a set of rules outlining the responsibilities of or proper practices for TECSPA member organizations that will lead all TECSPA members to show up as ethical and progressive business organizations enhancing TECSPA brand value for the organization and all its members.
Essential Policies:
- Every TECSPA member organization will commit and follow business and use of licensed software. We will actively discourage any illegal use of software and educate and encourage all users to use only licensed software.
- We recognize over-use of license as a form of piracy and will not use under-licensing as a competitive strategy, ensuring that end-customer buys proper licenses as per policy laid down by software vendors.
- We commit to guide the end users in choosing the right licensing policy for the customer, and not lead him to buying improper licensing for our commercial advantage.
- We commit to follow all taxation laws of the country and states and will collect right taxes from customers and pay them in timely manner to central and state Government. In case of any confusion, we will abide by TECSPA’s guidelines on taxes to be levied.
- We commit to deliver licenses ordered by the customer in timely manner and meet service commitments laid down in the purchase order.
- We commit to best attempt to make timely payments to our distributors.
- We will respect all fellow members and ensure we do not deliberately poach on each other’s employees.
